International Education Week (IEW)
International Education Week (IEW)
November 18 @ 8:00 am – November 24 @ 11:30 pm
International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of U.S. efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
This year’s theme is EXPLORE.
International education is all about expanding horizons, making connections, and establishing mutual understanding between people in the United States and other countries. To sum it up – we want you to EXPLORE. Explore opportunities to study abroad for American students, explore exchange programs for international students to come to the United States, explore fields of study that need bright minds including STEM, explore the great minds that are changing the world after having been part of a U.S. exchange program, explore languages and cultures new to you, and explore all the opportunities international education offers.
