Volunteer Through PKG Center

The Priscilla King Gray Public Service Center has been the epicenter of volunteer and public service at MIT for over 30 years. Public service is a springboard to take your learning beyond the classroom into communities around the world through internships, fellowships, and public service projects. See more info at the PKG Center website.

Career Advising and Professional Development (CAPD)

Career Advising & Professional Development guides all students as they explore and prepare for careers and health professions. Whether you are planning your career, searching for an internship or job, or applying to graduate or professional school, CAPD is there to help.

CAPD also offers workshops about resumes, networking, interviewing, and more. See the CAPD website for more info.

Rescinded job offers and resources for what to do

There are resources from CAPD on what to do if your job offer is rescinded.

If you are currently searching for a job, Handshake includes job postings and career resources. In addition to using these resources, feel free to make a phone or video appointment with a counselor at the CAPD by logging into Handshake. Once logged in, click on “Career Center” and then “appointment” to select an option that best matches your needs. All students and alumni within 24 months of graduation have access to appointments with CAPD.
