How do the new social media screening rules affect students’ F/M/J visa interviews?

The U.S. Department of State announced on June 18, 2025 new application screening procedures, including online presence. With this in mind, we recommend that your social media accounts be public and visible to immigration officials and that you consider removing any sensitive political material.
