The workshop will feature presentations prepared by the MIT Vice President for Finance’s Tax and HR/Payroll Teams. Topics to include:
- Sprintax Calculus and Sprintax Returns
- Whether your payments from MIT are taxable
- Your tax residency status
- Filing obligations
- Tax withholding information
- Payroll taxes (FICA)
- Tax Treaty benefits
- Q&A Session
