MIT Tax Workshops for International Students and Scholars – first workshop on February 22, 2024

The MIT ISO and Vice President for Finance Office (VPF) will be hosting a series of Tax Workshops for international students and scholars to provide resources on how to complete the 2024 Federal income tax returns (for the 2023 calendar year). The first Tax Workshop will be THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2024:

*Nonresident students: Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm – presented by Sprintax, MIT VPF, and MIT ISO

This workshop is for International Students who have been in the U.S. for 5 years or less (“Nonresidents” for tax purposes).  Our colleagues from Sprintax will be providing an overview of tax basics, and utilizing the Sprintax Returns software to prepare the necessary documents for filing the Federal income tax return.

Please note that the MIT ISO will make the Sprintax Returns software available to MIT international students on March 1, 2024, and will send out an email notification to all international students, and update the ISO Taxes website, to confirm how to access the software (provided for free by MIT ISO).
