Visa Services at U.S. Embassy in Sudan Suspended, effective April 22, 2023

The U.S. Department of State announced the suspension of operations at the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan effective April 22, 2023.

It is important to note that this suspension of activity includes all immigrant, diversity, and nonimmigrant visa interviews which are canceled until further notice.

Nationals of Sudan may apply for nonimmigrant visas at U.S. Embassies/Consulates in any country outside of Sudan in which they are physically present, and where appointments are available, during the suspension of operations in Sudan.
