What is the SEVP Portal?

The SEVP Portal is a website that allows F-1 visa status students on post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) and STEM OPT to review and update data pertaining to student OPT information. Your U.S. Home and Mailing Address, U.S. Telephone Number, Foreign Telephone Number, OPT/STEM OPT Employer Name and Address, Supervisor Name and Contact Information, and verification of completing required STEM OPT Extension can be viewed and edited by you.

IMPORTANT: MIT Students/Alumni on OPT/STEM OPT should continue reporting to iMIT since any updates made to the SEVP OPT Portal will not update to iMIT. By updating iMIT, you will update both iMIT and the SEVP OPT Portal. Details on OPT and STEM OPT Extension Reporting Requirements are available on the ISO website here:
