ISO / Most MIT Offices CLOSED on Monday, April 17, 2023

The ISO, and most MIT offices, will be closed on Monday, April 17, 2023 in observance of the Patriots’ Day holiday.

The ISO will close for walk-ins beginning at 3:00pm on Friday, April 14 and will re-open for walk-in office hours at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

ISO Staff will continue to monitor the main ISO email account (iso-help@mit.edu) and will check phone messages to the ISO main phoneline (617-253-3795).

If you need to request a new Form I-20 or Form DS-2019 with a new travel signature, instructions on how to make the request in iMIT are listed on the ISO Visas and Travel webpage (https://iso.mit.edu/visas-and-travel/).

If you have an urgent/emergency situation that cannot wait until the office re-opens on Tuesday, April 18, you may call the ISO Emergency Phone Number (617-258-5480). The emergency phone line should especially be used if you are experiencing any travel issues at the U.S. ports-of-entry/U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
