Emergency Situations: If you have an urgent/emergency situation that cannot wait until the office re-opens for walk-in or remote office hours, you may call the ISO Emergency Phone Number (617-258-5480). The emergency phone line should especially be used if you are experiencing any travel issues at the U.S. ports-of-entry/U.S. Customs and Border Protection. If you get voicemail, please leave a message with how best to contact you and an ISO Staff member will call you back.
If you need to request a new Form I-20 or Form DS-2019 with a new travel signature, instructions on how to make the request in iMIT are listed on the ISO Visas and Travel webpage (https://iso.mit.edu/visas-and-travel/). Normal document processing is within 10 business days of the request submitted in iMIT. If you have urgent/emergency travel timelines, please contact the ISO.
