ISO Closed on Monday, October 9, 2023

The ISO, and most MIT offices, will be closed on Monday, October 9 in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

The ISO will close to walk-ins beginning at 3:00pm on Friday, October 6, and will re-open for walk-ins on Tuesday, October 10 at 10:00am.

ISO Staff will continue to monitor the main ISO email account (iso-help@mit.edu) and will check phone messages to the ISO main phoneline (617-253-3795).

If you have an urgent/emergency situation that cannot wait until the office re-opens on Tuesday, October 10, you may call the ISO Emergency Phone Number (617-258-5480). The emergency phone line should especially be used if you are experiencing any travel issues at the U.S. ports-of-entry/U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

If you need to request a new Form I-20 or Form DS-2019 with a new travel signature, instructions on how to make the request in iMIT are listed on the ISO Visas and Travel webpage (https://iso.mit.edu/visas-and-travel/). New Forms I-20/DS-2019 generated by the ISO can be emailed to students.

Please be reminded that the ISO has extensive resources online, so we encourage students to review the ISO website (https://iso.mit.edu) for information and guidance, including:
