My OPT application is pending, but I am moving, how do I change my physical and mailing address?

If your OPT application is pending, we advise you to update your address information in the following ways:

  • Follow the instructions on how to update the ISO of the address change: F-1 OPT Reporting Requirements, and
  • Through your USCIS online account, make the address update/correction. You may also send a message to USCIS through your online account (through the “Ask Emma” chatbot), to notify USCIS if you have any specific questions after making the mailing address update.
  • Complete the Online Address Change form on the USCIS website.
