Foodie

DEFINITION: “Foodie” means a person with a particular interest in food or a gourmet. Or, it may mean someone who enjoys eating or cooking different types of food. It is recorded that this term started to be used from the 1980s.

EXAMPLE: For the traveling foodie, Japan provides a variety of good-quality seafood cuisines, from the traditional to the innovative ones.
