Get down to work

DEFINITION: To begin being serious about something; to begin attending to business or work at hand.

You can also say: “Let’s get down to business.”

EXAMPLE: “Now that spring break is over, I guess I really need to get down to work!”

EXAMPLE: “Everyone seems to be getting down to business around here; they look so studious with their laptop and Starbucks.”
